THE SAGA OF THE MAGNIFIENT THIRTEEN ( plus 2 )
Due to our being short our opponents loaned us two players. The whole team gave it everything and never gave up fighting for the ball.
The sight of the centres ( notably STOKER ) charging directly at the opposition was a sight to behold. It was a very even game with our matching them in the Try Count.– The only difference was the conversions.
I have mentioned the 1st team but must pass on “WESTIES” message of ‘thanks’ to the seven players who did not turn up. ( One of them a little close to your intrepid scribe )
