This was a “crunching” encounter between two very good teams! The majority of the game was played between both 22s with ascendancy passing from one side to the other. The attacking force of both teams came up against an excellent defence of the other team. When it appeared that we would be scoreless at half-time, they finally breached our defence with a straight 50 metre run.
Half-time 5 – 0 down.
We began the second half strongly with Jack and Jay (B) going close. (Keep those sniping runs on the “blind side ” going) but the Pack took control and 15 metres from their line they released our own “Javelin Missile” in the shape of Josh Males who smashed his way through three tackles to score.
The end to end play continued with both sides going close to score Full marks to Jack for one Try-saving tackle.
This was a Top-Notch performance by both teams and a Fair Result as neither team deserved to lose.
