Llandaff North RFC Ladies have been playing since 1994. This is our 19th season. One player from the original team, Sue Thomas is still playing.
Coaches Roy Davies and Gordan Killin ran the team from 1994-2002. I took over from 2003 and I’m still running and playing in the team at this present time. Massive thanks to two of the best gentlemen, who brought not only knowledge & experience to the game, but fun too.
Team colours when we first started were Black and White, then changed to Red and White to match the men’s colours. We now play in Pink and Black
At one stage the team was a family concern with Mother and Daughters: Denise, Kelly and Haylie Hopkins. Sue, Lara Thomas, Cath and Rachel Stacey, who are still playing. Sisters: Sian and Cerys Davey also Rhianon and Dawn Thomas. Our ages range from 16-58yrs
Other past players include: Sylvia Goodman (President of the WLBU), Helga Howells, Sian & Cery Davey, Kelly & Haylie Hopkins, Bernie Nunn (who hopes to be back next season), Bernie Llewellyn, Kath Rein, Rhianon & Dawn Thomas, Karen Thomas, Rita Kennett, Leanne Morgan, Claire Gould, Lianne Ellis, Laura McCarthy, to name but a few.
Coaches: Roy Davies, Gordin Killin, Richard McCarthy, Paul Fletcher, Tom Page also helped out. Current coaches are Myself and Donna Routley Nicholson.

Big thanks to Clive Shepherd, who always makes sure our bases are in tip top condition. This season he changed the colours to Pink and Black, to match our new team colours
