This game must have started with a BANG as, by the time I arrived ( 15 mins. late due to searching for petrol and forgetting that Tesco was opposite the ground ) we were already 12 points up !!! apparently two excellent tries by Mikey.
The game was end to end with their having a slight ascendancy in the scrum do to several “heavy” players but we kept attacking at every opportunity and were rewarded just before half-time when our pressure forced them into an error followed by a “kick and chase” which was won by Jack and converted by Mikey.
It must be said that during the first half we had the benefit of a strong and cold wind which Seaview used immediately in trying to push us back. Also they made great use of their heavy players in trying to smash their way to our line.
Final Score: Sully Seaview 7-19 Llandaff North 2nd. Scorers :- Tries Mikey (2) / Jack / Conv. Mikey (2)
Our defence was excellent with every single player making their tackles count !! ( Very few missed tackles !! ) and we
saw a few “try-saving tackles ” by Adam / Jack./Jay(B) / Cruzy ( Yes the okd man is still playing !! )
