This was the typical “game of two halves” — NOTHING to do with the weather !!! It was due to the lack of attention!

The first 20 minutes saw The North all over Caerphilly. The pack were SUPREME with Sean / Adam / Marley tearing the opposition to ribbons but sterling defence meant that we were only able to score two tries. — But what tries. !!

The first came from a brilliant Long Pass by Jacob that sent ” Jinking” Josh in. ( I can’t call him Captain Marvel now !! )Then ‘Ammer Adam’ fought to win good ball and sent Angus on a 50 mtr. run to score with Nathan converting.

Josh was sent to the “sin-bin” and we “switched-off” allowing them to score a try. At half-time we were 12 – 5 ahead. The 2nd half was ” end to end” with neither side getting the upper hand.

AND THEN IT HAPPENED…

With 5 minutes to go they were given a penalty on our 22. – and we — TURNED OUR BACKS TO THE BALL! They took a tap-penalty and ran in to score under the posts for an easy conversion to level the scores.

Well played lads — You deserved to win — BUT you must maintain concentration for the whole game.

Score :- 12 pts. to 12 pts.

Scorers:- Tries Josh / Angus /Conv Nathan
