Due to our being short, Cilfynydd agreed to play 14 men, but, within the first 5 minutes Jonah incurred a painful shoulder injury which meant that, for the remaining 75 minutes we had to play one man short.
But they were all heroes and played out of their skins! It seemed as if they had a second wind from last week’s match!
From a kick and chase Andrew scored. A scrum on their 5 mtr line, and their put-in saw Our Pack push hard and Jay (B) harassed their scrum-half forcing him into a wild kick which was charged-down by Tito who gathered the ball and dived over.
Next our Pack again drove hard and won the ball with Adam passing quickly to Tito who again crossed the white-wash. Jack converted
Whilst our Backs were far superior with their carving great holes in the defense poor handling let us down on several occasions. Our Pack reigned supreme and Joe scored two virtually identical tries within 5 minutes, through quick interpassing by the forwards.
The only Blot on the landscape was poor tackling allowing them to score just before half-time We were ahead 7 – 31
In the second half their “extra player”, and our tiring players began to show and they scored two tries due to missed tackles and a weakening Pack at a 5 mtr Scrum.
But this team NEVER gives up and from a relieving kick and chase Sam scored.
They had last score after poor tackling.
Last week we had 20 players! This week we had 14? Where were the missing players?
WELL PLAYED LADS! YOU DESERVED THIS WIN! KEEP ON ROCKING!
